- Darezik Damkevala when in class X–A
Everyone has a dream, born of deep feelings, wishes and needs. When you achieve such a goal, the satisfaction you experience is tremendous. I recently had such an experience when I attained a 99% score in my BOARD examination. All year, day in and day out keeping this in mind, I worked with the conviction “I can, I will, I must” I worked with a single minded devotion to my aim. Days and nights merged into one, as I only paused to answer nature’s calls, not only in the excretory sense, but also eating, and resting at the proper intervals, after all, health is wealth. Having followed the advice of my parents and teachers, I had no difficulty in breezing through the prelims. I spent the last month revising and solving tests. This helped boost my confidence, and helped me deduce certain patterns from the previous year’s board papers. Thus, by constant perseverance and work, by straining every nerve and sinew, I made my dream a reality. And no one can take that away from me!!!
