Based in Singapore at Standard Chartered Bank, since 2004, Madhur works with Financial Institutions to provide Capital Markets Solutions.  The sphere involves capital and liquidity management, advisory on bank capital and issuance of debt and capital in a number of products such as bonds, loans and asset backed securities.

Madhur has lived and worked in 6 countries and has managed relationships with sovereigns, banks and corporates.  Madhur has originated and executed bank capital, debt and derivative transactions for issuers rated from AAA to CCC.  Madhur has managed issuers in Malaysia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Madhur has also been involved with the arrangement of bank capital, senior debt and tenders for Standard Chartered Bank and its subsidiaries having executed a number of transactions in over 10 currencies.  These have included bank capital transactions in lower tier 2, upper tier 2 and hybrid tier 1.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, Madhur was with JPMorgan Chase in Mumbai, New York and Hong Kong in Debt Capital Markets.

Madhur has a M.Com from the Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai and an MBA from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa, Barcelona. Madhur is fluent in Spanish.
