Satish M. Mansukhani is Managing Director and Head of Mortgage Strategy at Credit Suisse. His mandate includes coverage of the $6.4 trillion residential mortgage sector – the largest in US fixed-income markets.
At Credit Suisse, Satish leads a team of analysts working closely with the firm’s targeted domestic and international clients. His responsibilities include creating customized solutions, broadening markets, offering specific product coverage, and developing an advanced analytics platform.
Before joining Credit Suisse in 2002, Satish was a Managing Director in the Mortgage Research team at Bear, Stearns & Co. His pioneering work on hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages earned him recognition in Institutional Investors All-America Fixed-Income Research Rankings from 1997 through 2000. Satish also worked closely with the industry-leading CMO trading desk as a structurer from 1993-1995.
Prior to 1991, he was a Manager in the Asset Securitization Group at KPMG. Here, he was responsible for providing transaction structuring solutions to the Capital Markets division at FannieMae.
His work has been profiled in US Federal Reserve publications as well as in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Inside ABS&MBS, Inside Mortgage Finance, Asset Securitization Report, and American Banker. It has also featured in industry-leading books such as Handbook for Mortgage-Backed Securities, Advances in the Valuation and Management of Mortgage-Backed Securities, Floating-Rate Securities all edited by Frank J. Fabozzi.
Satish holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bombay.
